Something’s new at Jax & Lennon: Introducing Organic Cotton
We’ve changed up our fabric – and it’s even BETTER than before!
At Jax & Lennon we are committed to making stylish, comfortable clothing that is ethically and sustainably made. Over the past few years we have used fabric made from Rayon from Bamboo, and we know you’ve loved how silky soft, comfortable and durable it is!
Still, we’ve been searching for ways to improve the quality, durability and feel of our fabric even more…
This Fall we’re excited to share our new and improved fabric with you, which is a combination of Rayon from Bamboo and Organic Cotton!
Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment, and is grown without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. Instead, organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility. Organic cotton is dyed using low impact, water-based dyes with no heavy metals. We also recycle the water used to produce our organic cotton.
Our new fabric is stronger, more durable, holds up better against regular wear and tear, and is still soft, stretchy and comfortable.
Also new this season is our Terry fabric! We opted for Terry instead of Fleece this year to help you get more cross-seasonal wear out of our Fall/Winter collection! Terry is still warm, cozy and thicker than jersey, offers improved durability, but is breathable enough to be worn year-round.
